Jamey began his maintenance career as a millwright in the mid-seventies. He started his own handyman maintenance business in 1980, Complete Detail and Maintenance Company. Jamey decided to expand his business to include homeowner associations in 1981. This proved to be very successful. He was then give the opportunity provide services for a number of Orange County Cities. In 1990 the company was incorporated as Jamey Clark, Inc. (JCI) In 1999 when Jamey acquired his Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) credentials from the National Playground Safety Institute (NPSI) he decided to develop another division of JCI, called SafePark. SafePark is designed to help make children’s play environment as safe as possible, by taking parks and playgrounds from reactive maintenance and repair, to proactive inspection, maintenance and repair to meet the current California Playground Safety Standards.
JCI Property Maintenance and SafePark Services have grown into a highly successful building, property, park and playground inspection, maintenance, and repair company. JCI Property Maintenance provides a very wide range of building and property maintenance and repair services. SafePark performs over 100 safety inspections monthly on public access parks and playgrounds, as well as meeting the ongoing maintenance and repair needs necessary to help make each park a “SafePark”.
JCI is proud to provide services for homeowner associations, master planned communities, and cities throughout Southern California, as well as individual homeowners. Our mission has always been to perform high quality services at fair and competitive prices. To always maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, honesty and attention to detail in our relationships with our profession associates and clients. Jamey is a member of the California Association of Community Managers (CACM), California Association Institute (CAI), National Recreation and Parks Association(NRPA), California Park and Recreation Society (CPRS) National Playground Institute (NPSI) and the Oregon Recreation and Park Association (ORPA).
In 2014, after more than a year of planning, research and development by AquaStar, and six months or trials and testing with SafePark, AquaStar and SafePark have joined forces to bring Fillable Friends to the Park and Recreation Industry. Fillable Friends was introduce at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Congress in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 14, 2014 and at The World Waterpark Association (WWA) Trade Show October 27, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. At both shows Fillable Friends was very well received. New themes and designs will be introduced in 2015. You will see a lot of happiness spread through parks and playgrounds with the addition of Fillable Friends.
